Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Malaysia is one of the most ambitious and extensive infrastructure projects Malaysia has ever undertaken. The high population growth in cities within Klang Valley calls for improved public facilities, especially in the transport sector. Upon its completion, KVMRT will hugely boost the urban transport network in Malaysia. The KVMRT project comprises of three MRT lines namely; MRT Line 1, MRT Line 2 and MRT Line 3. KVMRT plays a considerable role in improving lives of those living in the region. Together with the existing rail transit systems, Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit forms the backbone of the Greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley region. The contribution of the project to improving passenger safety cannot be overstated.

Through utilization of the sophisticated Commercial Mobile Telecommunication System (CMTS) facility, the company provides the radio frequency (RF) infrastructure necessary for mobile operators to extend their radio coverage to the KVMRT SBK Line underground stations, linkways, tunnels and viaduct sections with noise barriers. FTTP allows a customer in the KVMRT to freely select a specific service from any Telco/Service Provider at any time.

Driven in part by rising bandwidth requirements and quality of service expectations in the KVMRT, the cost of deploying and maintaining today’s advanced DAS is on the rise. The Neutral Host model reduces the responsibility of the mobile operators to secure access, deploy and efficiently manage a DAS and in some cases, funding portions of the project in the KVMRT.
