i.     Wireless System Design

When implementing in-building wireless enhancements, it is crucial to consider long term system stability and not just short-term coverage enhancements. Improperly designed systems have the ability to incapacitate a public safety radio system, completely nullifying any benefit of installing a DAS in the first place. Our experienced systems design team has designed systems in cellular, and all carrier/cellular bands.

• IBWave – highly sophisticated design and propagation forecasting software tool. Building floor plans are loaded in the software with various outputs and reports generated.

CME Works

Cable Installation

Inspection/Check of Civil Works

Prior to access to installation site, inspection and check shall be conducted for the trackside and tunnels to ensure construction in accordance with latest combined service drawings issued by the relevant civil / noise barrier / trackside / tunnels contractors.

Trackside

• Readiness and availability of mounting structure (every 1 meter) on noise barrier
• Readiness and availability of cable containment on viaduct

Tunnels

• Readiness and availability of anchor bar at every 1.2 meter on tunnels wall

Preparation of Installation Works

There will be an inventory check and equipment/material inspection, when goods arrive at the site, to ensure the quality of goods is satisfactory. As installation contractor we ensure that the installation team assumes responsibility for inventory checking and inspection. The site supervisor will ensure the quantity and quality of goods is satisfactory.

Interface with Other Parties

The construction schedule shall be planned in consultation with interfacing parties such as tunnels contractors, ancillary building contractors and other subsystem contractors. Site access dates shall be coordinated with the above interfacing parties. The installation contractor shall also coordinate and work with other contractor in the shared section area.

Inspection and Testing of Cables

Installed Leaky Coaxial and feeder cables shall be inspected and tested prior to installation.

Cable hook is a self-locking, once the cable is in position, the method of pushing the cable to the hook will secure the cable to it. Stainless steel cable tie are used  to secure the cable properly.

Proper connector assembly and cabling works will be tested using cable tester where Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) for cables is measured.
